He Scored!

One of my friends tells her daughter that she can get a frosty at Wendy's if she makes a goal during her soccer game. I thought that was a great idea so I told Kamren this morning before his game that if he scored a goal he could get a frosty or ice cream. He said that's a waste of money, how about a dollar. Well, Kevin and I agreed and he scored a goal today. He's really motivated by money lately. Go Kamren! He is excited for his game next week because he wants to earn another dollar.

My kind of kid....I always choose money over treats. Let's just say my siblings always came to me if they needed to borrow money. I was known as "The Bank of Lindsey". Way to go Kamren.

I never thought of rewarding Julia for making a goal. Last Friday she scored her first goal of the season and none of her family was there to see it. I went to St. George with some girlfriends and Eldon didn't dare go to the soccer with both the little ones so we sent Julia with the neighbor. Now she tells everyone about her first goal and that nobody in her family was there to see it. We feel like loser parents. Oh well. I hope Kamren continues to score lots of goals. He'll be rich!!

I think that is so awesome~! What a smart kiddo... not only is a frosty a 'waste' of money, it's a waste of calories which I know, you being such a health guru, you've taught him well. ;) You're such great parents and it really shows in your awesome kids!
