Summer Fun!

Andrew is having fun at the park watching the play "Sound of Music". It was awesome.

2, 4, 6, 8, who do we appreciate, Kamren, Ashleigh and Brynn...Yay! They did it. Ashleigh and Brynn did their first triathlon at the Y. This is Kamren's 3rd time. He's an inspiration to everyone. He placed fourth in his age group 10-12 year olds and he's 10. Maybe next year he'l get a medal. He is really determined to do this.

Brynn placed first in her age group. She is quite the athlete! Ashleigh did such an amazing job. She was hesitant at first but she finished strong.
We are having fun with some friends listening to a concert. It was quite a hot day!

Ashleigh adores her friend Sadie. They love being together. She loves it when she can swim with her. We sure love the warmth here so we can swim lots.

Kamren has really bonded with Andrew this summer. He plays so well with him and makes him laugh.
Connor's first smiles. He sure loves looking at the elephant in his bouncy seat.

We had to make sure we went to the library to see all of the trucks, snowplows, fire trucks and more for Andrew. He was adorable to watch.

Andrew enjoyed every minute of exploring the trucks. He loved it when he could honk the horn.

Every July 4th we have a campout but this year I stayed inside with Connor and Andrew and Kevin camped in the backyard with the three oldest. They camped a few times that week.

Kamren really loves having other brothers around. He is a great big brother.

I was in the kitchen one day cooking and Brynn said she didn't feel good. Andrew said "Blessing" and the next minute I saw him walk over to mimic his father in giving Brynn a blessing. It was a precious moment. I'm so grateful Kevin honors his priesthood and gives us many blessings in our home.

Um, Andrew blessing Brynn is the sweetest thing I have ever seen. That must have melted your heart! What a great feeling to have up and coming righteous young men in your home. I am so thankful to finally have a son to follow in Jake's footsteps.
And how amazing are your cute kiddos?!?! I can't believe the 3 oldest did a triathalon. They are incredible! What fantastic parents you are, too, to offer such a wide range of opportunities and experiences to your kids. I really love and admire your family! Hugs Sonja!

Love the photo of Andrew and Brynn. Just too precious. Tell your kids way to go on the triathalon. That is awesome!
