Happy 6th Birthday Ashleigh!

Ashleigh just turned 6 yesterday on TAX day! She was the biggest baby born that day in the hospital. She was a whopping 10 lbs. 6 oz.

Here's Ashleigh enjoying her breakfast.

We wanted to make her day special yesterday so she chose to have scrambled eggs, toast and orange juice for breakfast. Kamren was so excited to make the eggs for her. She loved eating on the special birthday plate. I put up posters all over the wall when she walked out of her room and I put confetti all over the floor and streamers hanging from her doorway. She just loved it. She was radiating all day and had fun bringing chocolate chip cookies to all of her classmates. Brynn put in all the ingredients for the cookies. She loved the pencils she got from her principal and teacher. It's so amazing at how excited and happy children are with the simplest things. We got a free meal at Red Robins for her for lunch and free coldstones ice cream. She was surprised by her dad when he picked her up from school and they ate together. She loved that time with him.

She opened all her presents after breakfast and had fun playing with them all day. She loves her grandmas and grandpas.

This is Ashleigh a few weeks ago at her birthday playdate. She had a few friends over to celebrate her upcoming birthday. She decorated the cake by herself.

Ashleigh is excited to announce that she has three loose teeth. She can't wait until her first tooth will fall out.

She chose to have ice cream sandwiches on her birthday for dessert after dinner. I sure loved the idea. She chose spaghetti and corn for dinnner.

We are so grateful to have Ashleigh in our family. She is a sweet spirit and very loving.

Hey! So is she in kindergarten or first grade, and when is Brynn's birthday, and when are you due? Are our kids pretty much the same ages?
