Kam got to paddle board with some neighbors on Memorial Day. It was a beautiful day!
We grilled out with some friends on Memorial Day. We were loving the ice cream sandwiches and rootbeer floats.
Connor loves everything about a party!
Ashleigh and Sage love to be together. I feel like Sage is our adopted daughter:)
We try to wear red, white and blue the Sunday before Memorial Day out of respects to our veterans and those who are serving our country right now.
This is the best weather we've had in a long time for Memorial Day.
We always pick a family or person to honor on Memorial Day. I had a strong impression to give it to one of my former young women. Her husband is serving in Afghanistan right now and she is expecting her first child. He will not be there for this special event.
We made her a plant with red, white and blue flowers in it along with the cards. She really loved it.
We love going to our traditional Memorial Day Parade! Connor loved the army jeep.
Here we are at the cemetary again visiting the veterans.
Brynn has character day this week and she really wanted to be Elsa so I ran to the store and Ashleigh helped me design a simple costume for her to be Elsa.
Andrew and Connor love our flower lady down the road. She is the nicest person. We visit her about a dozen times before she closes. She has such a special spirit about her. She let Andrew and Connor help make my flower baskets for the deck.
Connor is all about doing everything on his own so he is making the trek home with the flower pots they made.
What's a Memorial Day without a camp! We went camping. It's always a lot of work, but the kids love it.
Connor is so sweet to me. He has picked many dandelions to give me this Spring.
Ashleigh is loving her smores at the camp.
Connor is eating fruit salad that daddy made for breakfast. Yum.
Kam got to bring a friend to the campout. Justin and Kam loved hanging together.
The boys fished and caught some too. Kam even gutted it and cooked it over fire.
Kam has loved refereeing this season. It's quite a service but he loves the treats he gets after each game as a thank you. He really is the funnest referee to watch.
Miss Ashleigh and her creativity for their school room. The other students get to decorate their own pencil can.
Brynn just loves to be happy:)
LILACS!! You will hear our boys and me shout...LILACS! I love the smell of lilacs and I've showed the boys to point them out to me as we are driving. It's fun to go on walks and smell them.
Connor loves the scooter. He got it for his birthday and can't stop scooting.
Best Friends! We are loving the weather and visiting various parks.
Mother's Tea at Andrew's preschool. He made me feel very special.
After the winter we've been through we are absorbing all the sun we can get. Our neighbor invited us over for some fun by the water.
It was so much fun catching up with my friend who has moved away.
ZOO TIME!
Kam just finished his season of Track. He did great. Everyone says he is a run distance runner and needs to train for that. Kam likes it all.
Kevin and I took Connor to Dairy Queen one evening and he was just being adorable. We are so grateful we have Connor. He is our little parrot right now and repeats everything we say.
Kam is so good with all the kids he refs.
The girls were so sweet to make me breakfast on Mother's day.
I love my Mother's day breakfast.
It was another great day on Mother's Day. WE loved going on a walk to our lake.
I'm so grateful I get to raise these five special kids. They each teach me something that I need to learn.
Sweet Andrew is a great teacher to Connor. Connor adores his brother and looks for him everywhere he goes.
I have these all in our front yard. Kevin loves the phlox!
Crazy Hair Day!
I ran the fun run with Brynn and our neighbor at our fundraiser at the Elementary School.
Connor loved his fire truck cake for his birthday. He was so happy to play with a big one at his friends house.
Happy Birthday Sweet Boys! Life wouldnt be the same without these two best friends. I know they will be buddies forever! There is a special bond they have.
They loved their balloons they got for their birthday.
Andrew and Connor loved going to McDonalds to get happy meals for lunch. That doesn't happen very often so it was a big treat.
The boys really wanted me to make this for them. It was gone quickly.
Ready Set, Run!
Happy Birthday Andrew and Connor. Andrew is 5 and Connor is 3.
Everyone gets to celebrate at Red Robin for the four April Birthdays in our family!
Yum!
The boys loved going to see the airplanes at our local museum.
Spring Concert at the school. The girls did a great show. Ashleigh led a group of kids on a dance and she did awesome leading them.
I'm potty trained! I'm a big boy now! It was a blessing he learned quickly. He is dry through naps and the night! He loves to be a big boy like his brother.
I love our neighborhood kids. They helped me make posters and treats for the teachers for teacher appreciation week.
We love our cousins. We got a special package in the mail with jewelry! We love it all.
I was over Teacher Appreciation Week and Andrew helped me decorate and get the breakfast ready for one of the days.
One of our favorite things this Spring was to watch the sparrows take care of their babies. They built a nest right on my front door wreath. The mother was very faithful about caring for her babies. We were so sad none of the babies made it.
We also got to watch a robin build her nest and lay her eggs in the weeping cherry tree right in front of our house. We just found another nest in my hanging basket. We've never had these many nests in our yard. It's so fun for the kids.
