What would a summer be without half off shakes at Sonics. Those were some serious shakes.
Connor is loving this one.
We had to go on a walk to burn off some of the shake. Kam was being sweet to his brother.
Kam was able to see his cousins for one split second in the airport as he went to California and my sister came here.
Aunt Amy is amazing with hair. All the girls loved getting their hair braided.
They are super fancy!
All the cousins did great together. It was fun to see them bond so quickly.
We went to the downtown museum during one of our rainy days.
Sweet cousin Jared gave lots of love to Connor.
While Amy and the kiddos were with us, Kam had fun at Disneyland, Sea World, and California Adventure with his cousins. He was spoiled!
Jared and Andrew loved playing legos and cars together.
I took my sister to pick the best blueberries ever. I could eat fresh blueberries everyday.
On the way to the beach we ate the best truffles. Divine!
The day was perfect at the beach.
It was the warmest day while Amy was here so we made sure we got lots of sun.
Several of the kids had fun burying each other in the sand. Later that day we played at the splash park.
We took the kids to see Planes and it was awesome.
Having fun at church together.
We took the kids to a bounce house to get all of their energy out. More rain.
My sweet friend took us on a ride on the pontoon boat.
They even had a turn to drive the boat.
Connor and Julia became great friends.
The cousins really bonded while they were here.
We took care of some cats down the road and the kids had fun riding in the back of the van on our way home.
Loving Disney!
We took the kids miniature golfing. They sure golfed quickly.
Connor is in his own little world with his golf ball.
All the cousins got a treat afterwards. Yum, more candy.
Andrew decided to put his treats in his hat.
We made a stop at the fancy cheese place. The kids didn't care for it but Amy and I enjoyed our treat.
Fresh peaches are the best. We took the kids to pick red haven peaches.
It was some fast picking. We brought home a half bushel.
Come on over to the nail party! The girls even made a soak for their feet.
Having fun at the park.
We walked the beach after we went to the park to get some more energy out.
The finishing touch of their nails. So pretty!
We had the best farm day ever!
We got to watch a cow have her baby calf. It was amazing.
The little calves sucked on our fingers.
All the cows are in line to get milked.
Tractor rides! Andrew loved this.
Four wheel rides. Connor cried at first and then he was happy!
Kamren was able to give the calves their feed and milk.
Andrew and Connor decided to be the calves.
Connor clung to his mommy! He loved the calves when he was with me.
All the kids got rides on the gator.
After the farm tours the kids caught tons of frogs and played with them for a long time.
Kam decided to fish! Wow, it was a big one. Kam was a happy camper.
Connor was loving the water too. Sweet Ashleigh is always so helpful.
This was a big day for Kam because he got to drive without a license!
We all went on a bike ride to get slurpies and then came home and hung out on the deck.
The kids are happy they went tubing. My friend watched Andrew and Connor and I took her kids.
Brynn started her first soccer practice. This is her first year playing and she is very happy with soccer. Ashleigh was so kind to help her get ready for her big day.
We just bought a ten man tent so we can start camping as a family. We set it up a few days before we camped just to make sure everything worked.
Having fun at our friends pool cooling off.
While we swim, Connor plays in the playhouse. He thinks the water is just too cold.
We went on many biking trips this summer. This was their favorite because we went to Dairy Queen. 10 miles of fun!
Yum!
Having fun at Cedar Point, the best amusement park in the nation. Kevin couldn't go so my friend took Connor and Andrew and I took her kiddos for the day. We loved the roller coasters!
So much fun! The day was just perfect and no crowds because everyone already started school.
The girls took this picture for the little boys. I was amazed at how well Brynn did with all the roller coasters.
For labor day weekend we decided to go camping and find petoskey stones.
We had picnics all throughout our weekend. The kids loved ham, salami, cheese, and french bread for lunch.
The day was perfect at the beach in Petoskey. The water wasn't too bad.
Kevin found a ton of petoskey stones for the kids. I just soaked up the sun.
We were able to go to Charlevoix and hang out downtown.
It was perfect timing to see many boats go under the br
Beautiful sunset.
Camping in Petoskey is so much fun. The kids slept great at night. I wasn't prepared for the cold at night. Its all a learning experience.
We loved the boats in Habor Springs.
We didn't get to paddle board because of the rain but we enjoyed watching the boats.
The girls love shopping just like their mom. We loved window shopping in the little towns.
We couldn't get our fire going the first night because our wood was too wet but we prayed and the second night it worked. Gotta love the hot dogs and smores.
I love this picture. My favorite part about camping is hanging out at the beach and watching the sunset.
Even though it rained during the day it cleared up at night and we had fun in the water. Kam is standing on water. He took the big bucket and put it in the water. He's so creative!
Brynn loved the sand dunes in Petoskey.
Over 60,000 people walk the Mackinac bridge every year on labor day. It's the only day the bridge is closed. I've been wanting to do this for eleven years and we finally did it. It was a memorable day.
Here is our time that we finished the five mile walk on the mackinac bridge. We were shocked we did it that fast. We were guessing two hours but we learned to pass people on the bridge.
We finished the walk and loved it. We are ready for some hot chocolate now.
We loved our five mile walk on the bridge. It was windy and freezing but we survived. We appreciate the pioneers so much more.
You can't leave Mackinac without having some fudge! There's fudge places everywhere.
Connor had a full diaper after his big slurpy drink. We love the sunny days.
