August Summer Days

We had fun visiting a zoo that the kids never go to.  It was Tiger Day so we all wore some kind of stripes in our clothes.
The kids are loving the goats.  Even Connor loved chasing them instead of petting them.
 Here is Tiger Brynn!
Ashleigh didn't want to look like a tiger.  She just wanted pretty hair and got it!
I want to teach the children to love America so we visited the Ford Museum.  Kamren really loved it!  He is our history boy!

We went to a science museum while we waited for our friends to go through the temple.

We went through a small cave on Labor day.  We were quite scared of the bat that kept flying around.
We are loving the 50 cent ice cream cones at Burger King.  Connor is so tired that he's not enjoying it.  I'll eat his:)

Connor could sleep with his lawn mower.  He goes out on the deck everyday to push the lawn mower.  He tries to bring it everywhere we go.

His newest thing is turning on and off the light.  He loves the one especially in the front room because he can reach it.

Ash helped me paint the dresser for the boys.  It took four coats of red paint.  Yikes!
I was tired of the oak looking dresser that we've had for years and I painted it red with the paint I already had and got new handles.  So fun.  I spray painted the shelf above it black.  It used to be red but needed a new change .
Kam just got his Tenderfoot and 2nd class in scouts.  Woohoo Kam!
Ashleigh is cooking like crazy.  She loves to make eggs, pancakes, cake, oatmeal brulee, cookies, and whatever is sweet.  She is our new cook!
The is the waterfall outside of the cave.  The weather was just perfect today.

Connor loved being with daddy at the beach.  Everyone got a little burnt but by the morning it was all tan except dad.  He has the pink skin.
We found some clay at the river nearby and they all decided to put it all over their bodies.  It was so funny.   Alot of people at the beach have fun with the clay!  It's great sunscreen!

We went to the dunes first before the beach and definitely got a workout. Our summer days are over and school has begun.
