March Updates

Andrew can't leave anywhere without collecting a few things for his little hands to carry. He often gets upset when he can't hold more.

Just a candid moment after school. They were all in a good mood so I had to take a picture. I just love them!

Cute sisters! They still enjoy dressing alike.

Kamren is at the Blue and Gold getting his award. He is almost a Webelo.

This is what I had hanging in my dining room with updated pictures but I decided to use this for the girls hair things.

I took my old one and made it into a new one. I made this for the girls hair things. My friend inspired me to make one.

I went a little crazy on making the girls flowers. They were so fast and easy to make that I couldn't help having one of each color.

Kamren missed having lots of updated pictures up in our dining room so my friend told me how to make this. The kids love looking at new pictures.

My friend showed me another way of making flowers with ribbon. So fun!

Kamren amazed us with his singing a solo at the school music program. He doesn't like singing at church but he was fine with this music. We were so proud of him.

Andrew is loving the goggles. He can't wait to swim again.

I love those green smoothies!

I took the girls on a date to the Maple Festival. It was fun to learn about how we get maple syrup.

Kamren just started taking indoor flag football and he loves it! He is the Bears and they wear orange.

Ashleigh is moving up in the next size for her bike. She adjusted really well. The roads are clear so they can ride their bikes again to school.

We had to paint our nails green for St. Patricks Day. It just finished off the outfit.

The kids built the leprechaun so he could come on the evening before St. Patricks Day. We were struggling with getting the kids to kneel in a circle and to come quickly so each time they did this they got to put a puzzle piece up. It worked perfect!

The leprechaun came to our house this year. We've never had him come. They went on a fun scavenger hunt.

Here they are with their first clue all dressed in green!

They found the gold. They were rolos and gold nuggets and they even got Lucky Charms. That is a treat in our house since we don't do this kind of cereal.

We enjoyed our traditional St. Patricks Day meal with corn beef, red potatoes, carrots, and cabbage. We had mint brownies for dessert. Yum.

We had fun making our traditional shamrock cookies a few days before St. Patty's Day!

Grandpa just turned 70 so we thought we would surprise with him 70 plastic eggs filled with chocolates and things that he was "eggcellent" at since he used to own a chicken farm to sell the egss.

That was fun to see your month of March! I can't believe how Kamren is getting so grown up! I met some of Rick's family who use to live in Minnesota. I asked him if they knew any Stapley's and he said the chicken farmers? YES!!! Their names are Max and Mary Evans. So you'll have to tell your in-laws about that! Miss and love you!
